Creative Designer
Location: Manchester, M6 (near Salford Uni)

We are looking for an experienced Creative Designer with a strong background in retail and point-of-sale design to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting projects for renowned retail brands and clients, with the potential for career growth into a creative lead role and the opportunity to build and manage your own team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the creative process for retail design projects, from initial concepts to fully rendered design presentations.
* Develop creative concepts independently or lead a small team, producing innovative ideas and detailed design decks.
* Design a range of retail solutions, including point-of-sale displays (CTUs, FSDUs), shop-in-shops, concessions, and full store designs.
* Present design concepts to both internal stakeholders and clients, clearly communicating creative approaches and solutions.
* Create 2D and 3D drawings for manufacturing and customer use, detailing components in metal, wood, and plastic.
* Produce site layouts and distribute drawings to relevant teams.
* Liaise with procurement to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements and assist in sourcing or modifying components.
* Conduct site surveys and prepare drawings for planning, building regulations, and landlord approval.
Requirements:
* Minimum 8 years’ experience in retail and point-of-sale design.
* Proficiency in Autodesk 3DS Max, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Knowledge of building regulations and Disability Discrimination Act requirements.
* Experience in presenting design solutions to clients and internal teams.
* Ability to translate briefs into compelling design concepts.
* Familiarity with materials such as metal, wood, and plastic for manufacturing.
* Excellent organisational skills for maintaining customer archives and project files.
