Job Description
Maintenance Assistant - TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Maintenance Assistant to work in the Knightsbridge, London area working in ultra-high-end mansions for a private property management solution company.
The salary for this position is £33,000 (overtime after 40 hours is paid at time and a half)
The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8-4 or 9-5 - Optional overtime available
Duties -
· Undertake general property maintenance & repairs throughout our properties including carpentry, tiling and general repairs to doors, windows & locking systems.
· Installation & repairs gutters and drainpipe systems.
· General repairs of basic plumbing.
· Source materials from local suppliers and manufacturers.
· Assist other staff members as required.
· Provide cover for colleagues in times of absence and on – call assistance.
· Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard.
· Liaise regularly with colleagues, supervisors, and managers to ensure an efficient and effective service is always delivered to the client.
· Seasonal shift & on call rota.
· Adhere to all company policies & procedures, particularly to health & safety.
· Any other duties as and when required.

Requirements -
· Ability to demonstrate good use of basic hand tools.
· Knowledge of a building trade i.e., carpentry, door & window locks, decorating, plastering & tiling.
· Sound numerical ability for measuring and making calculations.
· Have recognised C&G, NVQ qualifications.
· Basic knowledge of current Building Regulations.
· A thorough understanding of Health and Safety standards.
· Full clean UK driving licence.
