Job Description
Apricus Resourcing are working with a local council authority who are on the lookout for a temporary housing/visiting officerfor an ongoing locum position based in Redbridge.
Within your role you will be assisting in carrying out inspections, coordinating with tenants, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations and standards.
You will need to have a history within housing roles in order to be considered, the manager is looking for hard working, enthusiastic individuals to work within the Housing Management team. Having the right calibre of people with the right attitude is essential in providing homeless people with the services they require.
Duties:
* Address and resolve any non-access issues relating to all domestic works compliance including damp and mould, EICR, Gas, Fire Doors and HHSRS inspections
* Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely remediation.
* Provide tenants with advice and support
* Work with tenants to facilitate access for gas safety engineers.
* Resolve access issues for electrical safety inspections.
* Communicate with tenants to arrange access for contractors.
* Coordinate with asset management teams to ensure compliance with regulations.
* Conduct scheduled inspections of all common parts an surrounding areas on a monthly basis.
* Assist in the updating and maintaining customer records
* Assist in the completion of outstanding FRA Actions including clear communal areas, balconies, etc
* Maintain documentation of completed tasks and follow-ups.
The role available is based on an ongoing basis, working Monday – Friday 9-5 with an hourly rate on offer of up to £18/h dependant on experience. The role may also be turned into a permanent position in the future, should you wish.
