Project Director – Joinery & interior Fit Out – London
This is an exceptional opportunity for a high calibre and eminently talented construction Project Director to further develop their portfolio with our growing, successful business.
From splendid restorations of luxury hotels, Grade 1 heritage buildings, high-end arts & leisure/retails to refurbishing luxurious deluxe homes in Central London, you’ll have the chance to work on an impressive range of exclusive projects and develop a world-class portfolio of work undertaken to the highest possible standards.
The Role
As a Project Director, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of construction projects from a strategic and quality standpoint.
Track record of high-end joinery & fit out projects is essential
You will ensure our on-site teams perform to a suitably high standard and are effectively managed on a day-to-day basis, whilst championing health & safety and ensuring projects are safe, accurate and successful.
Providing leadership and direction to Project/Site Managers, you will support integration and teamwork across our entire organisation and promote a culture of business development through delivery and relationship building.
Additionally, your role will involve:
* Managing projects from a strategic perspective
* Demonstrating and leading H&S project compliance
* Ensuring that project execution and technical review plans are in place
* Handling subcontractor procurement
* Ensuring environmental plans are implemented and monitored
* Building relationships with clients, consultants, supply chain and key external stakeholders
About You
* To be considered as a Project Director, you will need:
* To lead a team and promote a positive working culture
* The ability to drive critical activities and deliver mitigation measures
* Willingness to embrace technology and modern methods of construction
* Good knowledge of programme management and control
* Good knowledge of safe systems of work
* A high level of commercial acumen
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* IT proficiency
* Experience with various forms of building contracts
