We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team on a long-term basis through Hays Education. This role is perfect for someone passionate about early childhood education and looking to make a positive impact in a nurturing nursery environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Support Learning Activities:
  Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning activities for children aged 0-5 years.
• 1:1 Support:
  Provide individualised support to children who may need extra help, ensuring they can fully participate in nursery activities and reach their developmental milestones.
• Create a Safe Environment:
  Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for all children, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Encourage Development:
  Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through interactive play, storytelling, and creative activities.
• Observation and Reporting:
  Monitor and record children's progress, sharing observations with the lead teacher and parents to support each child's learning journey.
• Collaborate with Team:
  Work closely with other nursery staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.

Requirements:

• Qualifications:
  Relevant qualifications in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3) Not a requirement.
• Experience:
  Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
• Skills:
  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children.
• Clearances:
  Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
