Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with one of the world’s leading Material Handling equipment manufacturers that are looking to recruit a new Field Service Team Leader to assist with the running or the field service team across the Peterborough postcodes. Responsibilities
Leading the forklift engineers working across the Peterborough postcodes
Working alongside the Service Manager in overseeing the aftersales throughout the region
Assisting the field based engineers fixing and servicing Material Handling equipment
Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when visiting customer sites
Developing an understanding of the manufacturer’s products and assisting with new staff further down the lineRequirements
The company have a preference for an individual with experience of leading a team within the forklift industry, however this is not essential. Another option they would consider is a candidate that is currently working as a forklift engineer and has aspirations to step up. They will also consider candidate with a background working within a closely related industry such as plant equipment, automotive, commercial vehicles or similar, provided they have strong leadership experience. In terms of location, you will need to be based within a Peterborough postcode.
