L3 BeyondTrust PAM Safe Engineer - Incident Management

Position : L3 BeyondTrust Password Safe Engineer Job Summary : As an L3 BeyondTrust Password Safe Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the BeyondTrust Password Safe platform. You will serve as the primary technical expert, handling escalated issues, performing complex configurations, and ensuring seamless integration with broader IT security systems. This role also involves implementing best practices for privileged access management (PAM) and collaborating with other IT and security teams. Key Responsibilities : BeyondTrust Administration : - Manage the deployment, configuration, and administration of BeyondTrust Password Safe. - Perform system upgrades, patching, and maintenance of BeyondTrust Password Safe solutions. - Handle L3 escalations for technical issues related to BeyondTrust Password Safe. - Integrate BeyondTrust with identity management and other security systems. Security & Compliance : - Ensure alignment with privileged access management best practices and organizational security policies. - Support security audits and prepare necessary documentation for compliance. - Proactively monitor system performance, reliability, and capacity. Incident & Problem Management : - Act as the escalation point for incidents related to BeyondTrust. - Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving related to BeyondTrust Password Safe operations. - Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to address system challenges and optimize performance. Training & Documentation : - Provide knowledge transfer and training to junior engineers and other support teams. - Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation and procedures. Required Qualifications : - 6 years of experience in IT security and privileged access management (PAM). - 4 years of hands-on experience with BeyondTrust Password Safe. - Strong understanding of password management and PAM best practices. - Proven experience troubleshooting complex BeyondTrust issues at L3 level. - Familiarity with IT security frameworks and regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA). Preferred Qualifications : - BeyondTrust certifications (e.g., BeyondTrust Certified Administrator). - Experience in integrating BeyondTrust with other IAM and security tools. - Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and other directory services. - Experience with security auditing and reporting.
