Data Business Analyst - ETL

Role : Data Business Analyst Experience : 8-11 years Location : Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune (WFO) Must Have : - Business Analyst - ETL - Data Warehousing - Power Bi - Tableau - Global Banking Job Description : As a Data Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure that data-driven insights support key business decisions. The role requires a deep understanding of data management principles, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization tools. You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, translating them into data models, and creating visual dashboards that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. This role is designed for someone with a solid foundation in data analysis within the global banking industry, who can effectively bridge the gap between technical and business teams. Roles and Responsibilities : - Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, particularly in the global banking domain. - Translate business requirements into data models, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. - Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses. - Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau. - Ensure best practices in data warehousing and data management are adhered to, optimizing the data flow and storage mechanisms. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, business intelligence developers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality data solutions. - Provide insights and recommendations to improve business processes based on data analysis. - Continuously improve data collection, reporting, and analysis methodologies. Skills : - Strong knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and best practices. - Expertise in Data Warehousing concepts including data modeling, data architecture, and management. - Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau for data visualization and reporting. - Experience in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into data-driven solutions. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Desired Skills : - Prior experience working with Global Banks or financial institutions. - Knowledge of SQL and database management systems. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
