Site Engineer - Waste water Treatment & Civil Works - Uckfield
Are you a skilled and experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in waste water treatment and civil works?
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team in Uckfield, working on a challenging and rewarding project involving the construction and commissioning of a new waste water treatment facility.
About the Role:
As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of this project. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Project Manager in overseeing the construction of the waste water treatment facility.
Ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and time lines.
Managing the construction of civil works elements, including earthworks, drainage, and site preparation.
Supervising and coordinating the work of sub-contractors.
Monitoring the progress and quality of construction activities.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Preparing and maintaining site records and documentation.
About You:
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on waste water treatment projects.
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
Knowledge of waste water treatment processes and technologies.
Experience in managing sub-contractors.
Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A relevant degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. ICE) is desirable.
