Purchase Ledger Assistant
Celsa UK – Cardiff
Starting salary up to £26,000
Incremental salary increases up to £28,000 based on completion of job grading
Joining our Purchase Ledger team, you’ll be working closely with internal departments to ensure accuracy of records, processing documentation & reconciling supplier statements. Communication is key, you will be contacting suppliers by phone, email or letter to ensure queries in relation to payments are answered accordingly. You’ll also support with general office admin and other ADHOC duties.
Purchase ledger experience would be beneficial, but what is important is that you have experience with invoices. You’ll need to have experience problem solving and working in a fast-paced environment. We’ll provide all the training you need, what we ask is that you are a strong communicator who is IT literature (experience using Excel and outlook).
You’ll be joining a recycling company – we recycle scrap metal into new steel products. We’re the largest producer of reinforcing steel in the UK and one of the largest metal recyclers, too. We’re passionate about the circular economy and working towards our decarbonisation pathway.
