Job Description

Harte Recruitment invites experienced and energetic professionals to apply for an exciting Sales Negotiator role based in Leeds!

We are looking for a Sales Negotiator to join a small and very well-established sales team in Chapel Allerton. As a Sales Negotiator, you will play a pivotal role in managing property sales, handling vendor enquiries, and marketing properties to maximise exposure. You will be responsible for conducting viewings, negotiating offers, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the entire sales process, focusing exclusively on residential sales.

The Package:

  • Basic Salary: Up to £30k per annum (depending on experience)
  • OTE: £33,000 (achievable through the commission scheme)
  • Working Hours:
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 am 5:30 pm
  • Every other Saturday, 10:00 am 4:00 pm (with a weekday off in lieu)
Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus Bank HolidaysAnnual team bonus based on business performanceContributory pension scheme after the qualifying period

The Role:

  • Manage initial enquiries from vendors and arrange market appraisals.
  • Register potential buyers, tailoring service to their specific requirements.
  • Market properties effectively through detailed descriptions, social media, and an extensive mailing list.
  • Proactively generate new enquiries and manage open days.
  • Conduct accompanied viewings and highlight key property features.
  • Negotiate offers between buyers and vendors, ensuring smooth communication.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns that attract new business.
  • Request and manage customer reviews to maintain high service standards.
  • Opportunity for progression into Market Appraisals for the right candidate.

The Person:

Essential:

  • At least 12 months experience in residential sales or a related field.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Desirable:

  • Experience with property management software and social media marketing.
  • Knowledge of the local property market and trends.
  • A network of industry contacts to assist in generating new business.
  • Relevant qualifications in residential sales.
