Position : Senior Data Engineer - DBT & Snowflake Experience : 4years Location : Chennai Primary Skills : DBT, Snowflake Secondary Skills : ADF, Databricks, Python, Airflow, Five Tran, Glue Job Description : Role Requirements : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and transformations using DBT alongside Snowflake, ensuring effective transformation and loading of data from various sources into the data warehouse or data lake. - Implement and oversee data models in DBT to ensure precise data transformation aligned with business requirements. - Utilize DBT to convert raw, unstructured data into structured datasets, facilitating streamlined analysis and reporting. - Craft and optimize SQL queries within DBT to enhance data transformation processes and overall performance. - Establish optimal DBT processes to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability. - Possess expertise in SQL and a thorough understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and Modern Data Architectures. - Have familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Transition legacy transformation code into modular DBT data models.
