Company Credit Controller

Your New Company
Hays are working with an organisation in Halifax who are looking to welcome a Permanent Company Credit Controller to their team.
Your new role will include receiving bank statements and working from live bank statements, updating cashbook, taking payments over the phone by Visa, looking at credit stopped accounts, liaising with the customer service team and authorising releases, picking up the phone and speaking with customers, emailing statements at the end of the month, invoicing run by a customer service team, raising credit notes for customers, posting and allocating cash into sales ledger and refreshing Excel debtors list
We are looking for someone with good communication skills, as well as the ability to confidently liaise with people within the team. Also, we are looking for someone who has the willingness to get involved with other jobs if and when they are needed. You will be considered for the role if you have at least 5+ years of credit experience, you are comfortable receiving bank statements and updating the cash book, as well as being confident over the telephone.

Salary: £27,000Full-time hours- 8:30-5:0024 days annual leave + bank holidaysBupa cash plan after 3 months of employment2 bonuses a year
