Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Stores & Sample Coordinator to join the Frontier team, based at Sandy on a permanent, full-time basis.

The successful candidate will have operational and administration responsibilities for ensuring that food and feed law are upheld, and Frontier Quality Assurance procedures are being maintained.

About You

  • Proven experience of working within a compliance area
  • Able to work on own initiative, making decisions, managing own workload and time, whilst developing effective and supportive relationships with colleagues
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills balancing large workload with different pressures
  • Able to deal confidently with a wide range of people in difficult circumstances to ensure the correct outcome
  • Proven attention to detail with a process-driven outlook
  • Proven database and Microsoft suite skills Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge in Agriculture, grain storage, laboratory and quality systems an advantage
  • Able to handle telephone calls proficiently

Your Role

As a Quality Assurance Stores & Sample Coordinator your role will involve:

  • Managing couriers on behalf of QA and company laboratories
  • Managing weekly checks on storage bulks through collaboration with Frontier and third-party stores with follow -up
  • Administration of invoices
  • Managing the physical aspect of the companys provision of a Proficiency scheme for the industry
  • Preparing samples for various projects
  • Inspecting third-party stores
  • Answering or redirecting queries from customers, suppliers both internally and externally
  • Actively participating in QA team meetings, initiatives, and other projects where appropriate
