Materials Planner

Are you a Materials / Supply Chain / Production Planner in a company manufacturing products?

Used to dealing with production scheduling and suppliers in a fast moving environment?

The role:

To meet the company goals of achieving optimum OTIF delivery targets, whilst delivering continually improving quality, efficiency and excellent customer service, the company is now seeking a Production Planner to plan production through with material suppliers and also through the facility.

Will also involve supplier sourcing, supplier liaison on new product introduction and bill of materials changes.

The person:

The successful person will ideally be qualified to HNC or Degree level and have a proven background in achieving high levels of customer service in a manufacturing business supplying a wide variety of large and smaller customers. You will be familiar with the use of an MRP based planning and loading system. You will have excellent knowledge of planning systems and techniques.
