Job Description
The Marketing Analyst Fragrance expert will be responsible for meeting the objectives and guidelines of the category under their charge in terms of the marketing plan, product launches, orders, competitive analysis, online and retail plan, and press.
Besides that, will also be responsible for brand execution across all contact points for the fragrance axle, following the brand elevation guidelines. This position will also lead all the sustainability projects/campaigns and will support the clienteling program for Guerlain Brazil.
Overall – Fragrance Expert
- Support brand strategy, aligned with global guidelines, to increase brand awareness through B&M and digital activities.
- Definition and execution of the 360º comm (PR, Trade, Digital, Training, Events, VICs actions and, eCommerce, etc) launch strategy for fragrance, engaging the internal and external stakeholders to roll out the best plan to deliver the market targets.
- Development of commercial information: launch objectives, product & 360 presentations for sell-in negotiations, negotiation of animation spaces (on & offline), results analysis, and competitive analysis.
- Collaboration with the Training, eCommerce, and Commercial departments regarding the category’s needs.
- Gather and analyze constant information about the Fragrance category on the market evolution, trends, and competitors, identifying growth opportunities and leading strategy to pursue them.
- Analyze sell-in and sell-out information for the Fragrance category, developing an action plan when it is necessary.
- Support the definition of potential sales for all new Fragrance launches.
- Define sampling/gift strategy for the Fragrance axis and lead their implementation involving all the stakeholders about this topic and coordination of monthly POSM shipments to points of sale in collaboration with Sell-Out.
- Negotiate Fragrance events with key partners implement VM in stores and implement the full event package.
- Maintain and develop communications with the regional Marketing team to approve visual merchandising activities and ensure an effective flow of information and feedback.
- Analyze the ROI of all Fragrance Marketing Activities and suggest improvements.
Merchandising
- Implementation of Merchandising to the Fragrance category across all distribution channels (online and offline).
- Responsible for the Fragrance linear update by semester to ensure the roll-out of the new identity and launches in stores, proposing and aligning the layout with HQ guidelines, finding the best supplier to develop and implement the VM material, following all purchase process with the regional team, ensuring proper in-store implementation.
- Analyze the franchises performance to propose the best portfolio and shelf arrangement, ensuring the better performance in retail and online.
Sustainability
- Implement and support the new sustainability projects aligned with the global strategy, to support the achievement of the company's objectives, promoting a culture of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility for internal and external public.
- Be a reference giving visibility of pioneering projects, challenging Guerlain and LVMH group to always act with innovations and improvements in this area.
- Definition and execution of the Bee Day and Bee School 360º comm launch strategy, engaging the internal and external stakeholders to roll out the best plan to deliver the market targets.
Clienteling/VICs
- Be the contact of our eComm customers to straight relations when would be necessary (recommend launches, call for the top 5 customers bimonthly to know if it’s everything ok, etc).
- Explore all the Guerlain storytelling during the VIC and Corporate/Brand events to be closer to the main customers and develop a loyalty relationship between Guerlain and them.

Technical skills:
- Good knowledge of PowerPoint and other Office programs
- Good Knowledge in Excel
- Advanced/Fluent English mandatory
- Spanish is a plus
