Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you'll be a key player in the financial services industry, taking on responsibilities such as team management, financial reporting, and inventory management. This role is pivotal to maintaining and improving our accounting systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the general accounting staff to ensure efficient operation of the accounting functions.
• Conduct financial reporting and analysis to provide accurate and comprehensive understanding of the company's financial performance.
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems to ensure accurate tracking of company assets.
• Ensure revenue recognition is conducted in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
• Manage compliance and audits to ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in the accounting department.
• Collaborate and communicate with various departments to ensure alignment and understanding of financial data.
• Utilize accounting software systems such as BlackLine and Concur to facilitate and enhance accounting operations.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Conduct auditing and billing functions as necessary to maintain financial integrity.• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or in the field of accounting.
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary.
• Familiarity with BlackLine, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required.
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions.
• Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience in Auditing and Billing Functions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
