Job Description

Join a dynamic team and play a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge solar solutions Youll work closely with the Operations & Maintenance Manager to review project plans and ensure installations meet high standards. Responsibilities include: Setting up solar monitoring systems and diagnosing operational issues. Assembling solar array racking and sealing roof penetrations to ensure safety and efficiency. Installing a range of systems from residential to large-scale industrial projects. Collaborating with the Installation Supervisor and Engineering team to bring projects to life. Your success will be measured by your ability to document fault-finding outcomes, maintain warranty registers, and ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service Compliance & Certification Ensure that our installations adhere to all relevant regulations and industry standards. Your role will focus on: Upholding quality assurance and control, with a strong emphasis on safety. Monitoring risks and maintaining accurate documentation. Minimizing costs and waste to enhance project efficiency. Customer Service Deliver outstanding customer experiences by communicating professionally and building strong relationships. Cost Control Work with the project team to ensure all installations stay within budget while adhering to timelines and policies. Job Specifications: Qualifications: Minimum: Grade 12 Certificate (NQF 4) National Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (NQF 6), 3-Phase Wiremans license, QCTO Red Seal Electrician Certification, and AREP/SAPVIA PV Green Card certification. (preferred) Experience: Minimum: Up to 3 years of solar installation experience (both roof and ground mount systems). Advantageous: Experience with micro and string inverters, and setting up monitoring systems. Technical Competencies: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (advanced Excel). Familiarity with discipline-specific software and systems. Exposure to solar inverter testing and battery management systems. Behavioral Competencies: Strong planning and organizational skills. Excellent communication abilities. Detail-oriented with a systematic and analytical approach. Proactive, ethical, and flexible mindset. Customer-focused and a true team player.
