Job Description

As the Guardian of the Maison image in the Italian market, you will be responsible for the implementation of the marketing & communication international strategy to develop Maison turnover on all product categories. You will drive communication investments and local PR strategy to optimize the Maison Cartier reputation and visibility/exclusivity. How will you make an impact? Defines local Marketing and Communication strategy in line with international guidelines ensuring the specific adaptation to local context and challenges. Engages, develops and leads the Marketing, Communication and Merchandising teams: designs the optimum organization, recruits the right profiles, evaluates and compensates performance and develops potentials to federate and retain them. Manages Marketing and Communication budgets as discussed during strategic plan with Central by optimizing the distribution. Produces regular reports for management decision, providing specific recommendations and regular updates on competitor benchmarking. Marketing: accountable for local product strategy and for business results per products and networks. Defines launch packs and specific local actions to support sales staff and develop turnover. Communication / PR: Implements the Maison image and guidelines through media plan definition and press/PR and Events. Interacts with Richemont media agency and ensures good relationships with the agency and with local journalists. Is responsible for the ROI on communication tools through performance monitoring tools and through competitors’ analysis. Merchandising: secures optimized stock levels for retail and wholesale through Merchandising related activities in collaboration with Operations team, respecting stock budget and responsible for the return on investment. How will you experience success with us? Extensive experience of working at a senior level in Marketing and Communication. Experience in a luxury environment and luxury standards/clients. Networker with strong connections within the Italian Marketing, Comm and Media scene. Strategic thinker, able to propose ideas in line with the Maison DNA, yet innovative and inspiring. Patient negotiator, with senior and internal stakeholders as well as more junior colleagues or external partners. Results oriented and self-motivated with excellent organizational skills. Creative thinker with proven track record in delivering ‘on time and on budget’. Experienced people manager, inspiring leader, understanding mentor, motivating and challenging guide.
