Customer Service Officer

We are working with a National Manufacturing organisation to find an experienced Customer Service Officer to join their team in Wangara.
Working hours: Monday to Friday - full time hours
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing - potential for permanent placement for the right candidate
Pay rate: $35ph+ Super (depending on experience)
The Role
Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Process sales orders for customers, repeat and new orders.
- Amend sales orders and product specifications as required.
- Manage customer order and delivery protocols.
- Ensure all order quantities outside agreed standard order quantities are captured.
- Ensure accuracy of data entry pertaining to sales orders.
- Expedite sample requests to agreed delivery dates.
- Identify opportunities for gains in efficiency of the process by constantly reviewing systems.
- Actively manage customers in line with relevant service agreement.
- Service walk-in customers.
- Actively work together with customer service team to service 'house accounts'.
- Answering phone and dealing with customer queries.
- Respond to all customer order delivery dates in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain relationships with customers.
- Process customer account application.
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Update and maintain spreadsheets (customer back-order/forward orders).
- Maintain customer records.
- General filing.
- Attend and participate in regular team meetings.
Role Requirements
- At least 1 year experience in a fast-paced customer service / Admin environment.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge in using SAP or similar ERP system.
- Customer focused.
- Team player attitude.
- Strong time management skills including ability to deal with competing priorities.
- Meticulous and organized.
- Excellent communications skills in both written and verbal.
- Must be an Australian Resident or Citizen and have full working rights
