Dehulling Technician

A day in a life of a Dehulling Technician will be a member of a small production team.

The job will require the candidate to work in the following areas on a rotating basis:

• Weighbridge


• Dehulling Plant


• Meats Loadout


• Hulls Loadout

A successful applicant, will be able to adhere to the following;

• Operation of plant operations (Experience preferred, however not essential)


• Operation of Forklift (current forklift license is essential)


• Sound computer knowledge


• Customer service skills


• Good problem solving skills, literacy and numeracy are essential.


• Adhere to Environment, Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.


• Completing required safety documents and permits


• Housekeeping of weighbridge and surrounding areas


• General maintenance repairs


• Answering of calls both within work hours & outside work hours.


• Be able to work shift work, and weekends.


• Be able to work as part of a team, and individually


• Ability to adapt to new or changing work demands
