Are you passionate about irrigation or open space maintenance? Programmed’s Property Services team is looking for a motivated and energetic individual to join our team as an Irrigation Technician.

In this exciting role, you will work in a supporting team environment, maintaining, repairing, and installing commercial irrigation systems across beautiful client sites, including the prestigious Monash University in Clayton.

Nature of the position: Permanent, Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Irrigation team on repairs and installation of sprinkler systems


• Routine maintenance cleaning on all water features


• Cyclic maintenance cleaning on all water features by draining and pressure washing


• Routine maintenance on a variety of water harvesting system


• Routine and cyclic maintenance on bio-gardens


• Chemical handling


• Assist water harvesting technician on routine maintenance on filter replacements


• Routine cleaning on water harvesting system rooms, cabinets and cages


• Open space infrastructure & maintenance duties as required/directed

About You

• Desired but not essential, qualifications and/or experience in Irrigation or Open Space


• Effective written and verbal communication skills


• A clear commitment and understanding of Quality and Health, Safety and Environment systems


• A Current Driver’s license
