What you'll be doing
To work as part of a team to deliver security services aimed at ensuring the safety of staff, patients and visitors as well as the protection of assets.

Maintain the security and safety of all staff, patients and visitors within the healthcare facility. Conduct security duties in accordance with Security Industry Regulation 2016 and the Security Industry Act 1997. .

Selection Criteria

  1. Hold a current Class 1A NSW Security Licence, current First Aid Certificate and a current valid Class C Driver's Licence.
  2. Demonstrated experience in effectively and safely managing confrontation and aggression.
  3. Demonstrated experience in communicating appropriately and effectively in a wide range of complex situations.
  4. Demonstrated experience in providing services with a strong responsive customer service focus.
  5. Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a collaborative way.
  6. Demonstrated ability to apply ethical standards to decisions made on a day to day basis.
  7. Physical capacity to perform the duties of the position including patrolling, responding and restraining persons.
  8. Demonstrated experience in the use of computer systems, access control systems, CCTV and Fire Indication panels.
