The Short Term Casual Pool Physiotherapists contribute to the flexible and consistent Physiotherapy Services across South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. This includes the opportunity to work across all facilities including Prince of Wales, St George and Sutherland Hospitals.

What you'll be doing

Plan, coordinate and deliver high quality Physiotherapy care to patients of Prince of Wales, St George and Sutherland Hospitals consistent with South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards.

Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.
All Category A workers and new recruits are required to receive one dose of the seasonal influenza vaccine annually to be considered compliant.

Category A workers and new recruits who are non-compliant with seasonal influenza vaccination or have a medical contraindication to influenza vaccinations must comply with all other infection control risk reduction strategies as directed while working in a Category A position.

1. Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
2. Demonstrated core competency skills in Physiotherapy
3. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery
4. Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters, commensurate with years of experience
5. Computer skills and the capacity to use health information systems
6. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence based practice and a commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning
7. Current unrestricted Driver's licence, valid in NSW
