Catering Manager - Thornton Campus

1. Demonstrated expertise and creativity in leading and managing a commercial, residential school or camp kitchen.
2. Demonstrated high-level communication skills and high-level interpersonal skills including a capacity to develop constructive relationships with staff, students and visitors.

The Catering Manager plays a vital role in leading the kitchen and wider catering team to support students in having a positive learning experience whilst living away from home. To provide high quality, nutritious and sustainable food service, assisted by a catering team. To deliver food in line with the schools practices, policies and procedures to students and staff within the context of the teaching and learning programs within the school.The Catering manager will work to:

1. Design, and deliver residential menus that are seasonal, sustainable and nutritious

2. Design and deliver menu options for offsite (expedition and basecamp) student learning
