We are searching for a General Office Clerk to join our team in the retail industry, based in Mahwah, New Jersey. This role involves a variety of administrative and customer service duties, including processing returns, maintaining customer records, and handling customer inquiries. This offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Schedule is as follows: TH, F, Sat 6:30am-6:30pm
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer returns and ensure quality control
• Maintain and update customer records in a timely and efficient manner
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues as they arise
• Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook for data entry and other administrative tasks
• Organize files and documents to ensure ease of access and efficiency
• Schedule appointments as necessary to facilitate smooth operations
• Perform shipping functions as required
• Use your skills in administrative assistance and customer service to enhance operational efficiency
• Scan documents and files as part of record-keeping duties.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook• Experience in administrative assistance and data entry
• Ability to organize files and manage office supplies
• Expertise in handling shipping functions and managing logistics
• Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
• Proficiency in scanning documents and maintaining digital records
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all tasks.
