Robert Half is assisting a Milwaukee area client with the recruiting for a Credit Analyst to join their team. This position is best suited for an individual who is customer service oriented and has 3+ years of prior credit management experience. Growth opportunity to supervise.


This is a permanent placement opportunity located at their corporate office offering competitive compensation with full benefits, annual bonus eligible and profit sharing to 401k with 2 days a week remote.


Key Focus of the role:

  • Administer company credit application process for assigned area
  • Utilize reporting to analyze customer accounts
  • Contribute to process and workflow improvement
  • Recognize and lead the development and implementation of appropriate credit risk strategies.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members while ensuring alignment to the organizational strategy.
  • Responsible for record retention and managing customer files
  • Cover assigned credit queue workload to ensure compliance to credit policy
  • Collection activity on assigned segment of the A/R portfolio
  • Work with customers to negotiate arrangements on past due accounts
  • Ensure onsite credit functionality is covered pursuant to company credit policy, consulting with or escalating to the Credit Manager when necessary
  • Resolve billing discrepancies; review and approve adjustments to accounts
  • Perform customer account reconciliations

• 3+ years experience with credit management

• Skilled in Accounts Receivable (AR) management including collections

• Prior ERP and accounting system knowledge

• Proficient Excel user for project work and data analysis
