Job Description:
Adecco is currently helping a local client in Riverton, WY seeking an experienced and highly organized Shop Foreman to manage our truck and equipment fleet, including overseeing our service shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing shop personnel, maintaining equipment records, and ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are in top working condition through preventive maintenance. Additionally, a solid understanding of diesel mechanics is essential for this role. This position requires someone who can efficiently prioritize work orders, monitor fuel usage, control shop inventory, and schedule the movement of equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Truck & Equipment Fleet: Oversee the maintenance and operation of the company’s fleet, ensuring all vehicles and equipment are in optimal condition.
Supervise Shop Personnel: Lead, train, and manage shop staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
Monitor Fuel Usage and Supply: Track and manage fuel usage and inventory, ensuring an adequate supply for operations.
Maintain Equipment Records: Keep detailed records of all equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Prioritize Work Orders: Assign and manage work orders based on urgency and importance, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
Shop Inventory Control: Maintain and manage inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring availability for necessary repairs and maintenance.
Schedule Equipment Movement: Coordinate the movement of equipment to and from job sites, ensuring efficient logistics.
Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all vehicles and equipment, minimizing downtime and extending the lifespan of the fleet.
Computer Experience Required: Utilize software for record-keeping, inventory management, and scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing a truck and equipment fleet.
- Diesel Mechanic Knowledge: Strong understanding of diesel engine systems and repairs.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in computer software related to maintenance and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay Details: 27.00 to 30.00 per hour
