Volt is immediately hiring a Manufacturing Technician to work onsite with our client in a direct hire opportunity located in Addison, TX.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for;
This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity. The hours of this position will be Monday-Thurs 8am-4:45pm, Friday 8am-12pm.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Salary: $50,000 – $52,000/yearly *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Volt is immediately hiring a Manufacturing Technician to work onsite with our client in a direct hire opportunity located in Addison, TX.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for;
- The service and repair of electrical and analytical equipment.
- Quality control of new electronic and analytical equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
- Provide customer support through email, phone, and in person at customer locations.
- Travel to customer locations to perform maintenance and repairs (25% travel).
- The ability to read and understand schematics, pinout instructions, engineering drawings.
- Troubleshoot and repair circuit board assemblies to the component level.
- Familiar with standard electronic assembly and testing equipment including, but not limited to soldering irons, multimeters, crimp tools, torque tools, etc.
- Candidate that’s detail oriented, a self-starter and can work with minimal supervision.
- Ensure safe work behaviors and compliance with all safety standards.
- On the job training provided.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in Electronics or similar field is highly preferred.
- 1-2 years experience as an Electrical Technician, must know how to use electronic assembly & test equipment.
- Must be able to troubleshoot PCBs down to Component Level.
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Experience in a production-oriented environment, especially following standard operating procedures and manufacturing schedules.
- Strong work ethic and social skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Fluently speak, read, and write English.
- Able to work sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
- Willing to travel (25%) typically max 10hrs away but may have some overnights
