Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Histology Tech for a 13-week contract in San Diego, CA. Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent histology experience
• Proficiency in embedding and microtomy techniques
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Active ASCP certification

Responsibilities:

• Perform tissue embedding and cutting (microtomy) for histological analysis
• Prepare slides for microscopic evaluation by pathologists
• Stain tissue sections using routine and special staining techniques
• Ensure proper handling and labeling of specimens
• Maintain and operate histology lab equipment
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with lab standards
