Job Description

Seeking a professional career in warehousing and gaining experience with professional customer interfacing? Come join this team as an on-site Warehouse Associate! The Warehouse Associate will represent the company at a customer production site, interacting and coordinating directly with customer representatives and on-site managers to effectively maintain and replenish the customer supply of products. You will be responsible for performing warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, as well as general maintenance of assigned sheets and handling inbound shipments. You will verify supplier returns and enter order receipts, relocate and consolidate material, prepare and assemble packing lists, and pack, label, wrap, and load outbound trucks. You will also act as a liaison to assist in monitoring stock levels, resolving inventory and product discrepancies, and expediting critical needs in support of customer requirements. Most importantly, you will be passionate about company values and exceeding customer expectations.

Hard Skills

• Recent sit-down forklift experience 2+ years
• Pallet jack and boom lift experience preferred
• Computer proficiency

Soft Skills

• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Commitment to meeting internal and external customer expectations
• Ability to work in both non-climate-controlled and climate-controlled environments
• Experience interfacing with customers and high-level leadership

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas.

Work Environment

Warehouse storage environment with climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled receiving areas, working with a team of approximately 5-10.

Current openings: 2 positions on A Shift, 1 position on C Shift. Shifts operate on an A/B/C/D setup. A Shift: Sun/Mon/Tues, every other Wednesday, 6am-6pm. B Shift: Sun/Mon/Tues, every other Wednesday, 6pm-6am. C Shift: Thurs/Fri/Sat, every other Wednesday, 6am-6pm. D Shift: Thurs/Fri/Sat, every other Wednesday, 6pm-6am.

Attire: pants, steel toes, t-shirt.
