Job Description

The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, handling, and operating press machines to bend and shape metal parts. This role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of finished products.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal parts.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Select the correct tools and machine settings for each job.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Use tape measures and other inspection tools to verify dimensions.
• Work with sheet metal and operate shearing machines.

Essential Skills

• Experience with press brake machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using tape measures and other inspection tools.
• Experience with sheet metal and shearing machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with steel press operations.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.
• Ability to select correct tools and machine settings.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, meaning it can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The standard work hours are from 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, totaling a 45-hour work week.
