Geography Teacher

Salary: £110 to £150 or paid to scale
Hours: 0.8
Contract: Temporary till February
Location: Bristol Secondary School


What this school are looking for:

• Most importantly, you should be enthusiastic, engaging, and passionate about teaching young people Geography.
• A professional manner and a flexible attitude.
• Strong behaviour management and the ability to implement schools' behaviour polices is also essential.
• Deliver engaging and creative Geography lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Geography or Humanities related field.
• Recent experience teaching Geography or Humanities at secondary school level.
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one
• Strong behaviour/classroom management.
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
• The ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members.
