About the Role:
Teaching Personnel, the UK’s leading education recruitment agency, is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants/SEN Classroom Support to work in SEN specific schools across Bristol and the surrounding areas. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support to students with a variety of learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and other SEN.
As an LSA/SEN TA, you will:
Assist in the classroom with individual or small group support.
Help to implement and adapt educational plans to meet students’ needs.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support students' emotional, social, and academic development.
Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo to monitor progress.
Key Responsibilities:
One-to-one support for students with SEN.
Helping to manage classroom behaviour and keep students engaged.
Supporting students with physical, emotional, and learning challenges.
Assisting with personal care, where required (training will be provided).
What We Are Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people, particularly in an educational setting.
Knowledge of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to inclusive education.
A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel).
Relevant qualifications or training (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, SENCO training) are a bonus but not essential.
