We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Agile Project Manager in New York, NY. This role is in the technology industry where you will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibility will be to support teams in accomplishing their product roadmaps by promoting communication, organizing work, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
• Lead technical conversations and work with teams to prioritize tasks based on value delivered and highlight risks to delivery and support of a product
• Manage the flow of information to all project stakeholders from sponsors to users impacted
• Utilize project management organizational or visualization tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, SmartSheet, Wrike, or Rally
• Break down large project plans into smaller tasks for efficient scheduling
• Experience in managing CRM transformation initiatives
• Work with business and technology stakeholders to understand and document objectives and requirements, translate technical requirements and solutions into business language and back
• Develop, maintain and distribute standard project management deliverables including: requirements, project schedules, issues, action item log, and meeting minutes
• Utilize various project management methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, SAFe
• Remove impediments for the team to execute on work
• Champion user experience within both development and infrastructure teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
• Proficiency in project management, planning processes, and scheduling
• Experience in hiring processes and building collaborative teams
• Ability to execute project plans and deliver results within stipulated timelines
• Proficient in CRM systems such as JIRA and Confluence
• Experience in software development, specifically in UX design and scale out
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and transformation in the organisation
• Knowledge of Assertion Markup Language and data visualization techniques
• Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
• Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
• Ability to translate complex technical information into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders
• Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate and drive teams
• A plus if the candidate has experience in taking meeting minutes.
