Python Developer

We are currently searching for a Python Developer to join our fast-growing team. This position is for someone located in São Paulo, Brazil who is able to come into the office in-person at least three days a week. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with some of our biggest projects within the retail industry.

About You:

You are a humble, passionate, and experienced engineer that is excited to write code but is also comfortable working with sales, accounts, and other engineers. You have a positive outlook and are interested in working in a highly collaborative work environment.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Develop, maintain and enhance ETL pipelines using Python and Airflow.
• Develop internal tooling and scripts with Python.
• Debug and resolve issues that come up with regards to data or application.
• Maintain and scale the AWS backend infrastructure that uses API Gateway, Lambda, Dynamo, S3.
• Coordinate with internal engineering and business teams to understand requirements and develop solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard new clients into the platform.

Skills and Qualifications: (even if you do not meet these skills 100%, we still welcome you to apply)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Demonstrated ability to code in Python.
• Familiarity with Python packages such as pandas, numpy, matplotlib and Flask.
• Knowledge of AWS services and how they can be used in conjunction with one another.
• Willingness to learn and deep dive into new technologies.
• Good communication skills to be able to communicate with business partners.
• Demonstrated ability to investigate complex issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement viable solutions in a timely manner.
