Position: Loan Closer

Location: 3 days a week on-site in Westwood, LA

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Closer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in finalizing loans, ensuring that all closing conditions are met, and providing seamless coordination between all parties involved in the transaction. The Loan Closer will work closely with Loan Processors, Loan Officers, Underwriters, and external stakeholders to ensure loans are closed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience with Business Purpose Loans
• Strong experience reviewing entity documents and working with LLCs and Entities directly
• 4+ years of related work experience in real estate, fix-and-flip, new construction, rental loans, and/or portfolio term loans preferred.

Day to Day:

• Review and prepare closing documentation for bridge loans, construction loans, and portfolio loans, ensuring all terms and conditions are accurate and compliant.
• Coordinate with title companies, borrowers, sponsors, and third-party vendors to gather all required documents for closing.
• Ensure that all loan conditions have been satisfied prior to funding, including final underwriting approval and document review.
• Facilitate communication between loan officers, underwriters, sponsors, and third-party partners to resolve any issues that may arise during the closing process.
• Manage timelines to ensure closings are executed within required deadlines and service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Confirm all regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements are met, including thorough due diligence on borrower entities and property documentation.
• Disburse funds according to closing instructions and ensure proper post-closing file maintenance, including filing signed documents and updating internal systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Loan Origination System (LOS).
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, keeping them informed throughout the closing process.
