Exciting Opportunity with a Leading Product-Based Company, Part of a Well-Renowned Conglomerate Experience Requirements : - 8-10 Years of Front-End Development : Extensive experience building front-end applications across various technologies, with specific expertise in Next.js and Node.js. - 5-7 Years of Web Application Development : Proven track record of building robust web applications, ideally within the finance, retail, or similarly complex domains. - End-to-End Development Expertise : Comprehensive experience in full-cycle development for web applications, particularly with a Next.js frontend and Node.js backend. - Open-Source Contributions : Proven contributions to and maintenance of one or more open-source projects. - Technical Design Proficiency : Strong background in technical design and coding standards for Next.js and Node.js applications. Core Technical Skills : - Next.js 13/14 : Proficiency with App Router and Server Components. - React & React Hooks : Advanced knowledge of React and modern React Hooks. - TypeScript : Expertise in TypeScript for type-safe JavaScript development. - Node.js : In-depth knowledge of backend development with Node.js. - API Development : Strong command of REST APIs and GraphQL for efficient data querying. - Database Management : Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases. - Server-Side Rendering : Solid understanding of server-side rendering engines. - Web Debugging & Profiling : Proficient in using Chrome DevTools and native profilers to debug and optimise web applications. - Reactive Programming : Deep understanding of reactive programming principles. - Design Systems & Tools : Familiarity with Style Guides, Atomic Design Principles, and design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or Affinity Designer. - Programming Languages : Advanced knowledge in at least two programming languages, including JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, or Kotlin. - Communication & Leadership : Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire development teams. - Continuous Learning : A proactive attitude towards learning, growth, and challenging the status quo. Educational Background : - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with foundational knowledge in Mathematics, Algorithms, Data Structures, Networking, Databases, Operating Systems, and Graphics. - Master's Degree in Computer Science is preferred but not mandatory.
