What will you do

The Chemical Quality Control Sr Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of quality control analysts who perform chemical analysis of finished products, stability and raw materials to final release in compliance with current specifications. This professional shall have a deep technical knowledge to attend internal/external and regulatory audits and lead laboratory investigations as well. This professional must demonstrate a sense of urgency to meet deadlines, good interpersonal relationships when interacting with partners, co-workers and subordinates, in addition to demonstrating good skills in people management and knowledge of quality tools and laboratory metrics.

  1. Responsible for chemical/stability/analytical analysis management in order to meet the deadlines and assure the compliance with GLP.
  2. Ensure the correct records of all data related to test methods, observations and conclusions on the analysis, aiming the data integrity and ALCOA requirements.
  3. Responsible for internal/external audits regarding laboratory aspects.
  4. Report laboratory metrics.
  5. Ensure the equipment qualification and calibration.
  6. Support on budget management to reagents, equipment, supplies purchase.
  7. Lead the laboratory investigations, CAPA and change controls using the root cause analysis tools.
  8. Lead the quality control technicians and analysts providing the necessary tools and support on their development plans.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, chemistry, chemistry engineering, biology or related areas.
  2. Advanced English.
  3. At least 5 – 6 years of experience in chemical quality control laboratory.
  4. Quality processes and tools knowledge as KPIs, LEAN, nonconformance, change control and laboratory investigations.

Desired Qualifications

  1. SAP, Empower and LIMS experience.
  2. Spanish.
