Business Lead - Waste and City Maintenance
Salary Range Band 8 $125,104 - $140,199 plus 11.5% Super
Full time ongoing role
Located at South Melbourne Operations Centre, flexible working arrangements possible.

What’s the role all about
This exciting role will see you support the business in continuous improvement, reporting and analysis of the Waste and City Maintenance Department including, but not limited to:
Collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative data to form clear, timely, and solid understanding of department performance, areas of concern, and opportunities for improvement.
Strategically plan and co-ordinate the program of service transformation projects to maximise effective delivery and positive stakeholder engagement within the project and Council context.
Manage Council’s in-vehicle operations system
Ideally this role would suit a pro-active and strategic thinker with a solutions focused approach with considerable experience in leading performance reporting and service improvement.
We have a passionate and driven team who all work together to deliver outcomes that positively benefit our community.

Lead the continuous reporting and analysis of the performance of the department against agreed service levels
Work across the department, at all levels, and across the broader organisation to delivery performance improvement initiatives.
Co-ordinate and plan the program of service transformation projects to maximise effective delivery and positive stakeholder engagement within the project and Council context.
Who we are looking for
Tertiary qualifications in relevant disciplines such as engineering, business management, environmental science or the like is desirable but not mandatory.
Extensive experience in leading performance reporting and uplift programs in a dynamic and high-profile service
