This charming pub, set on the village green, offers fresh, seasonal British cuisine with a strong emphasis on local ingredients and high-quality produce.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting hearty, delicious dishes, while maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the Head Chef, supporting the daily operations of the kitchen, overseeing food preparation, and assisting in menu development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen
• Manage kitchen staff, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
• Oversee stock levels, ordering, and waste control
• Contribute to menu planning, incorporating seasonal produce
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef, preferably in a high-volume pub or restaurant
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor junior staff
• A passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and creative menu development
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
