Primary Responsibilities:
- Organizes and handles a variety of inbound and outbound logistics issues, such as: transporting, material handling; coordinating third-party warehousing.
- Updates sales and operations areas about the status of the products.
- Provides data analysis for production planning and volume studies and participates in process/rating improvement efforts.
- Control and evaluate the service level of the logistics operator (customs broker)
- Analysis of shipping documents, approval, follow-up of shipment from origin to destination, cash request, monitoring of import license registration, registration of import declaration and analysis of process closure
- Develop and coordinate processes and systems to efficiently move goods to and from intermediary hubs and final destinations.
- Ensure premier service throughout the shipment process including quick response to inquiries and problem resolution.
- Drive excellent performance with 3rd party logistics partners and internal teams.
- Conduct regular meetings with 3rd party logistics partners and internal teams.
- Data entry into SAP and analysis.
Required Qualifications:
- BS degree (bachelor’s degree) in Logistics, ADM, Comex, Finance or correlated areas
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics, importation, and equivalents
- Ability to communicate with multiple levels
- Advanced english
- Knowledge in SAP is a differential
