SAP MM Consultant - System Configuration & Implementation

'We're Hiring: SAP MM Consultant' Position : SAP MM Location : Gurgaon Experience : 8-15 years Notice Period : Immediately Key Responsibilities : - SAP MM Configuration : Configure SAP Material Management (MM) modules (procurement, inventory management, and material master data) to meet business requirements and industry best practices. - Inventory Control : Implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce carrying costs, and ensure material availability. - Purchasing : Oversee the creation and management of purchase orders, requisitions, and contracts, ensuring smooth procurement processes. - Sourcing Strategies : Develop effective sourcing strategies based on cost, quality, and lead time considerations to enhance procurement efficiency. - Integration : Collaborate with SAP teams (e.g., SAP SD, SAP PP) for seamless integration of MM processes across the organization. - Documentation : Prepare configuration guides, process flows, and user manuals, ensuring clear and accessible documentation for end-users. - Testing & Support : Lead unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing to validate SAP MM configurations. Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues for end-users. - Continuous Improvement : Stay up to date with SAP MM best practices and new features, recommending process improvements and innovative solutions. Technical Skills : - Proficiency in configuring SAP MM modules (procurement, inventory management, material master data). - Strong understanding of materials management and procurement processes within SAP. - Familiarity with SAP integration techniques and experience working with SAP SD, SAP PP, or other SAP modules.
