If this sounds exciting to you, come join us Application L2 Support Engineer (24/7 Shifts) As an Application L2 Support Engineer, you will : - Provide second-level technical support for critical backend applications and infrastructure in a 24/7 operational environment - Respond to and resolve complex application issues escalated from L1 support, ensuring minimal system downtime - Monitor system health, performance, and availability using various tools and dashboards - Troubleshoot and diagnose issues across multiple technology stacks and environments - Execute and maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles - Participate in on-call rotations to provide round-the-clock support for critical systems - Collaborate with development teams and other stakeholders to implement fixes and improvements - Assist in conducting root cause analysis for major incidents and contribute to post-incident reviews - Help implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for early detection of potential issues - Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and procedures We are looking for someone with : - 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Application Support or similar IT roles - Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux environments and cloud-based applications - Experience with AWS services and architecture, including CloudWatch for log analysis - Familiarity with container technologies, particularly Kubernetes - Basic understanding of infrastructure as code concepts (e.g., Terraform) - Experience with database management and troubleshooting, particularly Redis and Oracle - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and common deployment issues - Familiarity with API concepts and troubleshooting API-related issues - Experience with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow) and ITIL processes - Basic understanding of application performance monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic) - Experience with log analysis tools like Elasticsearch/Kibana - Ability to write and maintain shell scripts for automation and troubleshooting - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) Additional Requirements : - Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and holidays - Ability to adapt to a dynamic and sometimes high-pressure environment - Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required Following aspects would be a plus : - Experience in FinTech or other highly regulated industries - ITIL foundation certification - Experience with additional monitoring and observability tools - Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the continuous availability and performance of our critical applications, working closely with various teams to resolve issues promptly and maintain system stability around the clock.
