Data Engineer - SQL/ETL

Role : Data PM : Chennai Exp : 4years Job Description : - Specify, design, build, and support BI solutions by working closely with datalake team - Create dashboards and KPIs to show the business performance to management. - Design and maintain data models used for reporting and analytics. - Work closely with the data lake stakeholders to identify new features and business opportunities through your analysis & insights. - Build various data visualizations to tell the story of trends, patterns, and outliers. - Monitor, perform RCA to identify the performance tuning bottlenecks and tunes BI tools to ensure optimum level of performance. - Provide updates to stakeholders including users, engineering teams and other cross functional teams on a timely basis for projects and tasks. - Ensure data accuracy by validating data for new and existing tools. - Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. - Lead ad-hoc business deep dive analysis and present findings to senior leadership. - Modify existing reports, extracts and dashboards as necessary. - Collect, analyze and share data to help make strategic product decisions. - Maintain current inventory of reports and publishes this information to users. - Identify development needs in order to improve and streamline operations. - Own the design and development of automated solutions for recurring reporting and in-depth analysis. Data PM Engineer qualifications : - Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in computer science, engineering or information systems. - Experience with SQL, ETL, Visualization systems (like Tableau, Superset) - Experience with data modelling, data governance, data quality, data security - Experience with Agile, Python, shell scripting, Cloud, data analysis and wrangling tools and technologies. - Experience in datasets, fluent in process and documentation. - Comfortable making decisions and leading. - A problem solver and critical thinker.
