To manage Hatz-France in Lyon, we are looking for a
Directeur Général
to manage Hatz-France in Lyon, a leading German company with a strong presence in the industrial sector. As Directeur Général, you'll lead a team of 12 professionals and manage and grow a successful business during a period of change and digitalisation and ensure they embrace new technologies and changes within the business.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Guiding and leading the business through periods of change and digitalization and new technologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Business Development: Augmenting quality products with exceptional service delivery to enhance customer satisfaction and become a trusted advisor.
- Relationship Building: Fostering strong relationships internally and externally, nurturing partnerships to protect and grow market share.
- Leadership: Attracting, retaining, and developing top talent, maintaining the positive and productive work environment at Hatz-France.
- Entrepreneurial & Financial Management: Taking entrepreneurial responsibility – for business results and personnel management. Driving revenue growth, managing margins, and ensuring profitability while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Operational Excellence: Overseeing day-to-day operations with a focus on sales and technical support, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality customer service. Taking responsibility for the smooth running of Hatz-France and all associated operations.
- Market Expansion: Expanding market presence in France, Belgium, and North Africa, in alignment with international performance metrics and customer expectations.
- Connecting: Networking at an international level. To be successful, a branch must be entrepreneurial and receive the support of the HQ, other branches, distributors and customers. Therefore, in addition to the P&L responsibility for the French and French-Belgium markets, international networking is mandatory.
Your Profile & Qualifications
- At least 10 years of exceptional management experience and excellent leadership skills in the industrial sector, including at least 5 years at the executive level.
- An entrepreneurial, motivated, and pragmatic approach, with a proven track record in industrial sales, particularly in the construction, pumping, production, and welding services sectors.
- Success in leading organizations through growth phases.
- A strong technical understanding, expertise in marketing, a customer-centric approach, and financial knowledge.
- A university degree (bachelor's/equivalent qualification).
- Proficiency in French and English.
The role is based in Chassieu Cedex, Lyon. Due to the local importance and desired networking with customers, physical presence on-site is required.
