Location: Walsingham, Norfolk, UK
Contract and Shift: Permanent, rotating 3-week shift pattern over 7 days (24-hour operation)
- Week 1 – Monday to Thursday, nights (6pm - 6am)
- Week 2 – Monday to Wednesday (6am - 6pm), Friday to Sunday, nights (6pm - 6am)
- Week 3 – Thursday to Sunday, days (6am - 6pm)

If you answered yes, we want you on our team as our Production Team Leader!
As a Production Team Leader, you’ll play a critical leadership role on a shift team of 6.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the mill production team, ensuring the safe, efficient, and consistent operation of the plant from raw material intake to finished product out loading.
You’ll lead by example to ensure a safe, productive environment that supports feed safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and optimise the production process for maximum throughput.
- Direct the daily operations of your team, ensuring all tasks follow site and company protocols.
- Maintain food safety as a top priority across all operations.
- Provide daily performance oversight and distribute tasks to team members as needed.
- Promote a culture of engagement and improvement within the team.
- Consult with other departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Find and address equipment or plant issues in partnership with the Maintenance Team.
- Enforce adherence to all site and company Health and Safety regulations.
- Assist with stock takes, investigate variances, and uphold hygiene standards to meet audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP systems as per company standards.
What You Bring:
- Proven leadership experience in a production, agricultural, or feed mill setting.
- Familiarity with process control computer systems.
- Good Health & Safety knowledge.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Experience with performance management and training.
- Problem-solving abilities and basic maintenance skills.
- Lean management or continuous improvement experience.
- Proficiency in basic Excel and report handling.
