About Our Client

Our client, an international manufacturing organization, delivers customized solutions across diverse industries. We are assisting them in recruiting a highly skilled individual for the strategic role of Managing Director/Plant Director Czechia at their production plant in West Bohemia. This position is vital for leading the company towards sustainable growth, enhanced profitability, and an increased market share within the Czech Republic and internationally.

Job Description

Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.
  • Meet production goals within budget.
  • Implement and monitor KPIs for performance.

Team Management:

  • Lead and develop managers and supervisors.
  • Foster teamwork and high performance.
  • Conduct performance reviews and give feedback.

Quality and Compliance:

  • Ensure high standards and industry compliance.
  • Manage quality control systems.
  • Drive lean manufacturing and improvement initiatives.
  • Promote innovation and best practices.

Safety and Environmental Management:

  • Ensure safe and eco-friendly operations.
  • Enforce safety policies and conduct audits.

Strategic Planning and Integration:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Integrate the Czech site with the organization.
  • Align operations with company goals, and manage budgeting and forecasting.

Customer Focus:

  • Maintain strong customer relationships and meet their needs.
  • Work with sales and customer service for satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Proven track record in adapting and implementing business processes across different locations within the same company.
  • Knowledgeable in change management principles and practices.
  • Fluency in English and German is required
