ACCOUNT DIRECTOR VACANCY


We are on the lookout for an experienced Account Director to join our growing agency. You'll ideally have an agency background, be used to working across multiple projects at any one time and have the ability to help us grow and retain key clients across marketing, web and design.


You'll be a strategic thinking, and great communicator, working with clients at various digital maturity levels. You'll be hands on with projects including website design & build, search marketing, media and design, and manage of a small client services team in the business, overseeing two Account Managers.


This is a full-time role based in our office in Glasgow, there is flexibility for some remote work, and an expectation for you to be out of the office regularly meeting with clients and new business prospects.


You'll report directly to company directors and be a key voice in our business. Our business has been in a growth phase for the last 2-3 years which we expect to continue, therefore a new senior voice within this conversation is welcome.


No two days are the same, and many of our projects are fast paced, and creative. We are incredibly proud of what our tight team of marketers, designers, and developers achieve every day, and you will be too.


Our aim is to be an agency that is nimble, helpful, adaptable and clever. We aren't an agency of buzzwords, but a straight talking, honest and enthusiastic agency with clients who have a want to succeed and partner with us.


Key attributes of this role


  • Account Management, Sales, and Project Management skills
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, web, media purchase and design (training can be given where necessary)
  • Leadership & Management experience
  • A willingness to make your team, and your output better
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Financial planning, forecasting and budget management
  • Agency experience would be beneficial, but an expectation of 5+ years in a similar role either agency or client side is expected
  • The building of great interpersonal relationships with your clients

The last 2-3 years has seen us attract a host of new clients across entertainment, fashion, healthcare, leisure and e-comm, and in turn this has seen us shape our service offering. We are now a proud mix of marketers (media buying, PPC, SEO, email, content), design (web, print, videography, animation) and developers.
