Job position pitch
Be a technical expert in the Linux product domain. This is a technical role including analysis, project, BAU, and audit remediation to meet the requirements AXA GO & Partner
Act as a referent is L3 Linux OS support situations, supporting AXA partners, sharing the best practices, guiding them to find the best solution and sharing with your GO colleagues.
Within a multinational team supporting Axa Partners across Europe and Globally, you will have the opportunity to bring your expertise and to grow in a caring and challenging environment.

GSO (Global Service Operations) purpose is to deliver High quality services to all internal and external customers.
The department / team
OS & DB intermediary product Line aims to deliver technical solutions to improve the users & application team experience on OS, DB & Monitoring products.
Providing an automated, secured and reliable environment is our duty.
About the job
Job purpose and mission
In the Linux OS team, you will be part of the French DC Squad. You will work on L3 Incidents / problems changes. Coming from Major Incident Managers, entities or our L2 managed service to solve complex situations or to work on projects.
You will be closely working with the Build squad to deliver automations, to perform security remediations or any continuous improvement initiatives.
Support pro-active maintenance, including software upgrades, patching, hardening, vulnerability management, capacity management, inventory management.
Ensure that agreed service levels are met.
• 8000 Virtual guest servers running Linux, managed by Puppet.
• Physical servers running Linux
• On Premise, Private and Public cloud:
o Infrastructure as a Service
o Infrastructure as Code
Qualifications
Expected skills & experience.
Experience
10+ years of experience in Linux IT OPS activitie
Technical skills
Experience managing:
Redhat Enterprise Linux and/or Centos 5-8.
Linux or Unix servers of any-distro in numbers 100's-1000's of servers.
Redhat Directory Server / DS389 / OpenLDAP would be a plus.
Experience working with Devops methodologies using Git and Puppet, or one of the major configuration management toolsets e.g., Ansible/Salt/Chef.
Professional experience gained during several years in respective areas with a significant period of time working in an OPS context.
Very good expertise in one or more of the assigned technologies, respective multi-year hands on and vendor-approved accreditations.
Have interest in Infrastructure technologies (Network, virtualization, OS, storage, middlewares, ...) allowing to have pro-active and efficient discussions with various AXA Go teams to bring solutions during incidents or projects.
Process oriented thinking, structured approach and familiarity with the ITIL process of an international enterprise scale IT Service delivery organisation with offshore presence
Soft skills / transversal skills
Communicative and team-minded personality with a high sense of responsibility and quality, and the ability to create plans and coordinate the delivery over multiple teams.
High motivation and ability to work under pressure.
A successful computer science education (University, Technical College etc.) is a big plu
